Nice to see you up in Ontario. Love Walleye fishing at my home lake in Southern Ontario; Rice Lake. Haven't caught too many big ones lately (slot size of 25" here) but always catch a lot.

hahah you even put your fake canadian accent when you come to canada! cute! You should come to quebec some time, we have even crazier fishing than ontario! :) There is the St-Lawrence Seaway! :) There are even rapids there where the fishing is crazy, you can snag 5 foot sturgeons and 30lbs carp :)

LFG whit the banger recipes (also thank you Ted) did these whit some perch and was not disapointed. Put ours in brioche hamburger buns whit tartar sauce 😍 need to get more cause they didnt last long. Amazing video as usual keep it up!

Here in south central ky, ive caught more walleye on a shad rap than anything else. I would love to go up north and fish sometime.

LFG knows how to eat the good stuff that most people won’t eat .

Remind to bleed them walleye out, and zipper them when u fillet them

Louisiana beer batter fry is the best batter for walleye and pike, or any fish, just a pinch of beer so the batter is think and crunchy

You ought to come to lake Meredith by Amarillo for some walleye. A lot closer drive than Canada!

Walleye, pike and musky are pretty good, anything with teeth is an eater out of Michigan besides crappie and perch

Great Father’s Day post! I’ve done a lot of that type of fishing with my dad in that area (Lake Of The Woods, mainly) and it brings up some real fond memories. That fishery is so much better now than it was 20 years ago because of robust management. Not blocking off fishing all together like they do here in so cal (MLPA). Our last trip was about 6 years ago and it was better than it had ever been. Catch and release was the norm. Plenty of eaters for shore lunch but we released just as many breeder walleyes. Bass fishing was nuts, too. I’ll never forget my dad for taking me there. I miss him. Thanks for posting this trip!

Bro go to Minnesota boundary waters next time. Namakan around international falls. That is a fishing heaven. 3 biggest walleye I have ever gotten and some stud pile and musky as well. Never stuck a lake trout there but have seen monsters caught.

My pick is kokanee, walleye then crappie.

Just caught a 27 inch walleye the other day in rainy 😮

Might need to work on your release methods. Treat the walleyes like you would a 10 lb bass. Especially if you pull them out of deep water. Don't just drop them back in.
